If you know your Jungian personality type and would like to support is in our research, we have a short survey for you. Your contribution will be much appreciated.
Tools like the MBTI® and TDI® explore four fundamental ways in which we differ. Jung's theory suggests that we have a natural and inborn preference for one of the opposites on each of the first three dichotomies. These tools explore the differences in; how we are energised, the type of information we prefer to pay attention to, how we make decisions and the type of lifestyle we prefer to lead.
The preferences described on each dichotomy are equally valuable. There are no better or worse preferences. As the MBTI® and TDI® describe preference (type) and not ability (trait), it should be born in mind that everyone is able to develop, access and use our non-preferred functions to good effect. It may just take a little more energy, effort and concentration.
